Polis: the City, human and ancestral needs.
To satisfy his own needs , not only materialistic, human beings have always been driven by an inside, almost magnetic, power to aggregation.
Due to this need (salvific!?), cities were originated thousands of years ago: Rome in this case.
A form of life made by millions of cells: humans, that move constantly, like in a body, building alliances and hierarchies. A body in constant evolution, stratified and capable of changes every day, along inside arteries (the Cosular roads), and new routes (the Beltway).
This urban movement, these never ending changes, is what I am trying to investigate from years in the project Metropolis, with the ambition of framing that flow of unremitting becoming but also its everyday life.
